Are you about to turn 65 or are 65 with unanswered questions about your medical benefits? Are you caring for an elderly or disabled person and wondering if there are benefits they may be eligible for? Are you a veteran or a veterans dependent and wonder if there are benefits that might be available to you? Then you may be able to benefit from a community-wide informational event to be held Thursday, June 19, at Pine Harbour Assisted Living, 15 New Hampshire St., Plattsburgh. This free informational event will be held form 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will be the perfect opportunity to obtain the comprehensive information you need. Representatives from the Social Security Administration, Veteran Service Agency, EPIC and the Office for the Aging will be presenting information and will be available to answer your questions. The amount of space is limited to the first 100 people who call for a reservation. Lunch will be provided at no cost. So, call your mother, father, son, daughter or friend and ask them to join you.
