TICONDEROGA - The First United Methodist Church of Ticonderoga is taking written applications for the George and Anna Towne Scholarship, open to any man or woman who has been a permanent resident of Ticonderoga or Horicon (or Brant Lake) for a least two years preceding an application for maintenance and education expenses.
The applicant must be between 15 and 25 years of age and be studying or about to enter any accredited religious institution, theological school or seminary to be a minister, priest or rabbi.
