The Ticonderoga Historical Society will host its annual Wine & Cheese event on Friday, Sept. 7, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the home of the society’s President William Dolback, 1038 Wicker St., Ticonderoga. Tickets for this special event are $20 each or $35 a couple.
“This social is a perfect time to bid farewell to the summer season with your friends and neighbors while enjoying a superb evening of wine and tasty hors d’oeuvres. This end of the season event has become increasingly popular and is a must-do for so many community members,” said Keri Rhebergen, historical society trustee and chairperson of this annual event.
“Please mark your calendars, secure your reservation, and plan to enjoy an out of the ordinary evening in a beautiful garden setting with winding paths, a garden pond and arbors. Leisurely wander through the gardens or enjoy a tour given by William Dolback and discuss the various floras,” Rhebergen added.
The garden party is a premier fundraiser for the Ticonderoga Historical Society and is held to help support the maintenance of the Hancock House and preservation of the archives of local area history.
