Ticonderoga raced to victory at the Section VII indoor boys track and field championships Feb. 14 at SUNY-Plattsburgh.
The section title is the fourth in the past six years for the Sentinels.
Ti scored 113 points. Saranac was second with 99.
Dustin Scott paced Ticonderoga, winning the high jump and triple jump. He added a third place in the long jump.
Jonathan Granger won the long jump and was third in the 300-meter un and sixth in the 55-meter sprint for the locals.
Devin Scott added third places in the high and triple jumps. He was seventh in the long jump.
Jay Berube was second in the 3,200-meter run and third in the 1,000 and 1,600-meter runs for the Sentinels.
Josh Cook finished fourth in the 1,600 and 3,200 races, while Joe LaPerle was seventh in the 1,600.
Tyler Bush earned a third place in the shot with Anthony Contarino fifth and Chris Maldonado eighth for the Sentinels.
Jay Hebert was fourth and Michael Barber sixth in the 55-meter hurdles.
Ticonderoga finished fourth in the girls section championship. The Sentinels tallied 62 points. Saranac won its ninth straight title with 141 1/2 points.
Lexi Reale won the 55-meter dash and ran a leg on the winning 640-meter relay team for the Sentinels.
She was joined on the winning relay by Ainsley MacAlpine, Megan Moser and Courtney Shaner.
MacAlpine added a second place in the 300-meter un and a fourth in the 55 sprint.
Moser was sixth in the 55-meter hurdles and eighth in the long jump.
Jaelyn Granger was third in the high jump, Brittany LaVoie sixth in the 3,000-meter un and Sarah Bennett sixth in the high jump for the Ticonderogans.
Katie Karkoski was fourth in the 1,500-meter run and seventh in th triple jump for the Sentinels.
