On Friday, Feb. 4, members of VAULT or Visual Art Using Local Talent in Springfield met for its an annual meeting. The meeting was followed by a reception and celebration marking the accomplishments of the organization's past ten years.
A force from the beginning has been director Nina Jamison. She was honored at the reception.
Ten years ago, an empty storefront on 68 Main St. in Springfield began its transformation into a gallery that now holds the work of 125 artists and is one of only three Vermont State Craft Centers.
VAULT is also an organization that offers opportunities for participants of all ages and experience to create and exhibit work.
Gallery at the VAULT is located at 68 Main St. and is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday through Saturday. Ask about becoming a member and be a part of the arts in the Springfield community. Visit www.galleryvault.org for more information.
