Beginning on Friday, September 25 the VAULT (Visual Art Using Local Talent) will host their final 2009 season Open Wall exhibit, with an artists' opening reception for the public from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 68 Main Street in Springfield.
The exhibit's theme is "Color My World" and refreshments will also be served.
The Open Wall supports VAULT's mission to encourage community arts by inviting all artists and crafters in the immediate Springfield area to display and sell their work in a non-juried setting.
Local artists, especially those who have never shown their work before, are encouraged to participate. All works must be framed, ready to hang or otherwise display.
VAULT will not be able to accept any work after September 18.
Drop off times at the gallery will be Thursday, September 17 from 5 to 7 p.m. and Friday, September 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Artists who currently have work on display in the Open Wall are asked to pick up their work during those hours, or no later than September 18.
Look for us again in the spring as we begin a new Open Wall season, and thanks to all who have participated.
