The village of Saranac Lake will soon restart a project aimed at installing and upgrading water meters.
Village Manager John Sweeney says the Loewke Brill Consulting Group has been contracted by the village to complete the project that stalled when Troupe Water Services defaulted on its contract.
Sweeney says there will be three scheduled notices released about 10 business days apart.
"We encourage you to respond accordingly to these notices so that the upgrade or installation can take place," Sweeney wrote in an email.
The village will set up a call center for property owners to set up an appointment. The center can be reached at 1-800-405-2436 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
"There may be additional hours required to meet your availability," Sweeney notes. "Please let the call center operator be aware of this so that they can handle accordingly."
