Joseph Ehle, 45, of James St.,Warrensburg plead guilty to Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a violation. Warren County Sheriffs deputies who went to his house Feb. 5 found three marijuana plants growing there. Town Justice Mindy Fisk imposed a fine of $100, which carries an additional state surcharge of $100. James Denno, 39, of 139 state Rte. N, Ticonderoga, appeared in court to answer a misdemeanor charge of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance. A county Sheriffs patrol officer stopped him May 17 on Main St. in Warrensburg and found a syringe in his possession containing a residue of heroine. Dennos case was adjourned until July 2 to enable him to arrange for representation by an attorney. Tina M. Luke, 52, of Hidden Valley Road, Lake Luzerne, was arraigned on a misdemeanor charge of Criminal Purchase of a Weapon. Police said she attempted to purchase a 12-gauge shotgun April 26 at Nemecs Sporting Goods in Warrensburg for her husband Gary Luke, 53, the day after he attempted a purchase but was turned down because he was subject to a restraining order issued by Lake Luzerne Town Court in June 2007. Because he stated on a federal background-check form at Nemecs that he wasnt subject to a restraining order, police said, he faces both a misdemeanor charge of Criminal Purchase of a Weapon, plus a felony charge of first-degree Falsifying a Business Record. They are both due back in court at a later date.
