HINESBURG -NRG Systems, Inc., manufacturer of wind measurement equipment for the global wind energy industry, has announced the addition of Justin Wheating as chief financial officer).
Wheating most recently worked for Utility Risk Management Corporation, a start-up technology company that provides services to the utility industry. Prior to that, he worked at Simon Pearce, the Vermont-based manufacturer and retailer of high quality glass products, where he served as COO and CFO for the company. Wheating brings more than 30 years of finance and accounting experience to NRG Systems drawing upon his domestic and international financial experience. He worked previously for several consumer products companies, including Vermont companies Burton Snowboards and Skis Dynastar as well as others based in New York and England.
Wheating earned his FCA (Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales) at accounting firm Deloitte & Co. He attended Marlborough College in England. Wheating has spoken to business groups in Vermont and abroad and was instrumental in the development of community outreach programs at Burton.
