William Bixby, retired New York railroad worker, recently addressed the Schroon-North Hudson Historical Society on "Then and Now of the Railroads." He brought many pictures of steam trains and train accidents and gave an account of the 1946 head-on collision at The Glen. He also donated gift certificates for the North Creek train ride and from his family's business adventures. He will speak again on Aug. 16 as part of the museum's summer lecture series.
