Thanksgiving seems to be a great time for families to gather. I had the joy of sharing the day and food with 20 members of my family. Also heard the Young family of around 45 members gathered together at the Fish & Game Club for dinner. They had a special guest also join them Florence LaMountain. Many of them stayed the weekend and also came together for an evening of bowling at our local bowling ally the next evening. Heard that several family members of the community joined the shopping crowds on Black Friday in Plattsburgh. Rich and Sarah Sayward have opened their new restaurant up next to the bowling ally, it is really nice with an Adirondack d飯r. Some seventeen members of our New Beginnings group went there for supper this past Sunday evening. The place was filled with locals. Hopeful that you will make plans to come celebrate the holiday season with the Willsboro Congregational Church Holiday Sale and Luncheon on Sat. Dec.1 from 10 to 3 with the lunch from 11 to 2. Then journey to Essex for all of their events. The Holiday lighted train will be going through town on Monday, Dec. 3 sometime between 8:30 to 9 p.m. a great sight to see. Library will soon be having local crafters items for sale during library hours. Birthday Greetings to Roland Mitchell II 12/2, Clayton Belzile 12/3, Dale Boardman 12/4, Mary Boardman 12/5, Wayne Feeley 12/5, Roland Mitchell 12/6.
