Big change in the weather this week, jackets feel good when we venture outside. Happy to report that the school referendum vote this past week passed by a large margin. This will allow the school to move forward in the technology areas and upgrade security for the benefit of our children. Hopeful the public will get out to vote at the upcoming local election. Remember exercise your right by casting your vote of choice, or live with the choice of the majority. The Republican Party is hosting a Meet the Republican Candidates Night this will be held at the Sportsmans Dinette on Thurs. Nov. 1, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Reminder the Willsboro United Methodist Church will be serving a full Turkey Supper on Nov. 7. The town rejoices that the Jolsyn family received more encouraging news on their 4 year old sons health condition. The local Bank employees recently created a little excitement in town. A few of the employees were outside with what looked like a picket protest carrying signs. It turns out they were expressing positive words for those passing by as part of an internal workshop to train the employees on customer relations. Exciting for a while. The United Methodist Church will once again be hosting the Local Willsboro/Reber Veterans to a supper meal on Sun. Nov.11. Reservations are most appreciated for the committee to be able to plan.
