I had a most pleasurable visit with Mary Jane & Larry Lee recently, it is always a joy to share time with them both. I also learned that they recently celebrated their 60 th Wedding Anniversary very quietly at home; congratulations on a great milestone. It was also delightful that Kevin Frenier's family paid honor to the fact that his mother, Serena Frenier would have turned 100 years of age on 4/16, nice that you remembered.
We are most fortunate that there are many culture programs offered to us here in Willsboro. This past Friday Sharp Swan presented a very interesting slide show with his narration of his research on "High Peaks Logging & Log Camps", this is a part of our history that is fast disappearing. Artist Alice Wand will have a showing of her work at Clinton Community College, Friday, April 24, from 5:30 to 7:30. Another up coming event is "Mame" starring Broadway's own Leslie & George Hearn, at Willsboro Central School Auditorium. This will be on May 7, 8, & 9 at 7:30 p.m. and May 20 at 2 p.m. $20 a ticket , you need to make a reservation for seats call 963-4456 Ext. 214.
There is a great appeal out to the general public for "Champy" memorabilia that you would consider loaning to the Willsboro Heritage Society for their summer exhibit. This exhibit is now being set up and they would appreciate knowing of your offer as soon as possible, the opening is the first week in June. Call Corey Gillilland at 963-4677 with your offer.
Happy Birthday: Fred Knickerbocker 4/25, Nicholas Boardman 4/25, LeAnn DeNeal 4/26, Stan Dickenson 4/29.
