JOHNSBURG The Lady Jags gave it their best last Tuesday against Willsboro, in girls varsity basketball action. Willsboro started the game strong with a 21-17 point lead at the half. Johnsburg narrowed the gap at the end of the third quarter but lost the momentum, with Willsboro defeating the Jaguars 43-37 at the final buzzer. Amanda Plansker led the Jaguars with 17 total points for the game, including 5 free-throws. Jocelyn Graham and Kelsey Williford also showed considerable effort, with 8 and 4 points respectively. The Lady Jags currently have a 1 win and 6 losses MVAC South Conference record, with an overall of 2 wins and 14 losses at this point in the season.
