WILLSBORO-Voters in the Willsboro Central School District voted almost 5-to-1 to approve the adopted spending plan for 2011-12.
Out of the 299 votes made for the budget, 253 votes were in the affirmative. There were 46 votes against.
The school also received the will of the people to purchase a new school bur from a capital reserve account by the tally of 240-58.
"We are very happy with the outcome," superintendent Stephen Broadwell said. "This shows the confidence that the community has and the support for the district and all of the good things that we do at the school."
The 2011-12 spending plan for Willsboro calls for $7,894,867 in expenditures and an estimated $4,663,241 tax levy.
In the election of school board members, John Steeves received 256 votes, while Craig Jackson received 254 votes for two open seats on the board.
