A Crown Point woman has been charged with the illegal sale of prescription painkillers.
State Police began investigating the alleged sale of Vicodin early last month and charged Margaret M. Dygert, 27, in the case March 3.
Dygert is charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and five counts of fourth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.
Dygert was also charged with a misdemeanor for allegedly lying to police about her involvement in the sales.
After being arraigned, Dygert was remanded to Essex County Jail on $1,500 cash bail or $3,000 bond.
