Heard from the Village Office that Mike Finnegan was instrumental in raising the money recently through TD Bank here in Keeseville for the improvements to Jaycee Park as he and his family have been long key supporters of the park.
Also from the Village Office I heard how some are not paying attention to Village owned passages ways for water and sewers and are blocking areas with debris. In the case of emergency, the Village needs to have access immediately. Recently I had an after-hours problem with my water, and I was amazed at the thorough and quick response. I appreciate the quality of the managing of our Village.
I want to remind everyone again about the Library’s upcoming book sale. Once again this is always a wonderful sale with many great books.
Another thing that is always a great event is the annual Summertime Multi Artist Art Show and sale Opening Reception from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, and Exhibit and sale through Sept. 12. Here is your chance to support local artists and get great additions to any home.
Through the month of August the Keeseville Farmer’s Market will still be going on Wednesday in their extended hours until one. There truly is something for everyone at the sale which is going on behind the library by the AuSable River.
The Chesterfield Fish and Game Club is continuing with their newest dimension to their facility with the next International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) CLASSIFIER match on Aug. 18. The Club always welcomes new members and is ready to show beginners all the facets of the organization.
Once again Keeseville has plenty going on for everyone. Enjoy the rest of your summer and all our community has to offer.
