Editor, The Spotlight:
I am writing to express my support for Kyle Kotary for Town Supervisor.
Kyle has been a neighbor, and I am happy to say a friend, since my wife and I moved to town several years ago. Kyle warmly welcomed us to the community and offered his unconditional help with any issues we could have faced. It was apparent to both my wife and I early on that Kyle was someone who truly cared about his community and was someone who would stop at nothing to make it better for all residents.
As a young family with our first child on the way, my wife and I take great comfort in knowing of Kyle’s work to help the residents of Bethlehem. Through Kyle’s work at Parson’s Family & Children Services, his recognition by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Children and Families, and his coaching youth sports in town, he has shown his dedication to the families of Bethlehem. Kyle’s work and leadership on issues such as the preservation of Colonial Acres and the Rail Trail has shown me why I want to raise my family in Bethlehem and why Kyle should be our next Town Supervisor.
Starting a family can be financially difficult. That is why Kyle’s proposal to freeze property taxes for two years will make Bethlehem a little more affordable for young families like mine. Kyle’s six years on the town board has shown that he has the skill and knowledge to balance a budget while preserving core town services that we all rely on. This experience will prove invaluable as our town leaders begin to make decisions that will shape the town for years to come.
Bethlehem is doing a lot to maintain and enhance our quality of life, and it is in large part to Kyle’s leadership and dedication. I know that as Town Supervisor Kyle will continue to fight to make Bethlehem an even better place to live, work, and raise a family. My wife and I are supporting Kyle Kotary on Primary Day and we ask all town residents to support him as well.
