Homer - North Country SPCA
Have you seen the Summer 2013 edition of Pawprints? Our quarterly publication is hot off the press... if you are not on our mailing list, you can stop by the North Country SPCA’s new shelter in Elizabethtown to pick up your very own copy! Our current publication is full of heartwarming adoption stories, information about out new shelter, a statement from Jessica Hartley, our new Executive Director, and lots more! It is well worth a stop by the shelter to pick up a copy; while you’re there, why not take some time to meet our many adoptable animals... you may even find your new best friend! We currently have over 50 dogs and cats of all ages and sizes hoping to find their forever homes.
Our featured pet this week is Homer, an adorable Beagle-mix who was found wandering searching for food and a soft bed. Now that he is here, he doesn’t want to leave! We have to literally drag him out of bed in the mornings. Homer is an easygoing fellow who is happy to have a full belly and a soft comfy bed. He loves to go for walks with his nose to the ground but really loves to come back to the comforts of home. Homer is very quiet; we haven’t heard a peep out of him since he has arrived, and he is very neat in his kennel. We think he is only a year or two old. With his laid-back personality and happy-go-lucky nature, we believe he would make a great companion for anyone. Why not stop by and meet this sweet fellow today?
