Dear Sen. Charles Schumer and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand:
I understand that Samuel Palmisano, CEO of IBM, has offered the services of the company to the president to save the health care system several billion dollars FREE by rooting out inefficient methods but the president has turned him down.
As an IBMer for 30 years, I am disturbed that such an offer was turned down out-of-hand. Would you please look into this matter to see if there isn’t some way to have the U.S. government make use of such an offer.
