To the Editor:
Now that the voters have approved proposals 4 and 5 (the two land swap proposals on the ballot), who wants to join a pool as to how long it will take before Adirondack Wild and Protect the Adirondacks file their lawsuit? This way they can continue their campaign of confusing the issue and wasting taxpayer money to soothe their hurt egos. I doubt that they will let this chance go by without another lawsuit.
On the other hand, recognition should be given to the Adirondack Council for supporting the two proposals as a “victory for wilderness,” and an instance of balance for the economy and the health of the park.
