We can't even begin to thank the number of people from the North Country enough for stepping up to make our First Annual Boys' and Girls' Alzheimer's Awareness Basketball Tournaments so successful. The response from the school officials, the sponsors, referees, volunteers and friends was truly humbling. We were able to send $16,332.76 to Massachusetts General Hospital. MGH matched that amount to give $32,665.52 to Alzheimer's research!

And last but not least to the players and coaches of the girls teams from Westport, Elizabethtown-Lewis, Ticonderoga and Schroon Lake and the boys teams from Peru, Moriah, Ticonderoga and Westport. Your hustle, desire and teamwork really exemplified the spirit of the tournament. It is our hope that because of your efforts in helping to raise Alzheimer's awareness,fifty years from now you will never have to experience yourself or a loved one going through this disease!
