To the Editor:
Well, here we go again. Watching the Channel Five News at 6 p.m. on July 4, it seems that unless you live in Vermont, you don't count.
That's according to the news (one or two stories from New York) and now FEMA.
In the Press-Republican yesterday, July 3, a news article stated that FEMA is not helping individuals, only businesses, in New York.
But, in Vermont (the all-important state, apparently) they (FEMA) are handing out flyers for everyone to sign up for help.
Until the news today, I was feeling pretty good about living in New York. It's really sad to have to watch the news from a Vermont channel to get New York news.
Goodbye Channel Five.
