Dennis Lee Aubin
Dennis Aubin, 48, of Johnson Lane in Lewis passed away peacefully among family and friends at his home on July 31, 2011. He was born in Elizabethtown on Aug. 16, 1962, the son of Claude and Sonja (Cassavaugh) Aubin. Dennis enjoyed NASCAR, hunting and fishing. His greatest joy was spending time on his property while building his home with friend Todd Stevens. Dennis was Elizabethtown Highway Superintendent for 20 years. Dennis is survived by his parents, two brothers and their wives, Wesley (Karen) of Lewis, Leslie (Linnie) of Huntington, Vermont, twin sister Denise of Westport, companion Pam Crowningshield McGrath and her two children, three nieces, one nephew, and special friends Ron and Suzie Dubay and their family and Loren Henrichs. He was predeceased by his sister Cindy Lou, grandparents Floyd and Hattie Cassavaugh and Claude and Wilhelmina Aubin and canine friend, Brandy. At Dennis’ request, family and friends may gather to share memories at his home, 94 Johnson Lane, Lewis on Wednesday 12-3 p.m. and Thursday 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Lewis Fire Department, Firehouse Lane , Lewis, NY 12950; Elizabethtown Fire Department, PO Box 457, Elizabethtown, NY 12932; or Hospice, PO Box 192, Port Henry, NY 12974 Arrangements have been entrusted to W.M.Marvin’s Sons Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, NY.
