Racing was hot on Aug. 24 at Albany-Saratoga Speedway in Malta. Racing runs every Friday night.
Engines were roaring in Malta on Friday night as the Albany-Saratoga Speedway came to life. Thousands of people came out to see local dirt cars battle it out for cash and prizes. We took an in-depth look at a night at the races.
The Speedway changed back to it roots as a dirt track in 2012 after it raced on asphalt last year. The result was an incredible increase in the numbers of race teams and fans.
The track is now leased and managed by its sister track, Lebanon Valley Speedway.
Check out the bumping, sliding, and cheering. Racing continues each Friday through September, weather permitting.
