  • Legendary British guitarist Albert Lee — accompanied by Cindy Cashdollar — will be featured at this weekend’s Lake George Blues & Roots Festival at the Charles Wood Park in Lake George Village.   • The Black River Academy Museum in Ludlow has opened an exhibit on World War I as seen through the eyes of the lithographer Theophile Alexandre Steinlen.

  • Internationally acclaimed painter Cate Mandigo will be holding a show and sale on two Wednesdays — July 29 and Aug. 5 at the Helpers Fund office in Chestertown — with half of the proceeds going to the charity. Her paintings and prints will be deeply discounted as a way to give back to the community, she said. The Helpers Fund office is located across state Rte. 9 from the Chester Municipal Center.
