On Sept. 21, Vermont State Police responded to the Addison County Fair & Field Days fairgrounds for an assault call. When troopers arrived it was discovered that the victim, Joshua Bird, 35, of Franklin had been taken by ambulance to Fletcher Allen Hospital with a severe head injury. more

Vermont State Police have charged businessman Ed Davis, 49, and his wife Tammy Davis, 46, a member of the Castleton State College faculty, with arson. The couple were arrested after a fire March 17 destroyed Ed Davis Auto and RV in Fair Haven. more
