CLINTON COUNTY | Small Business Saturday is returning to the North Country for the ninth year to promote local shopping Nov. 30. Following the long-lived tradition of Black Friday, where large companies put holiday discounts on its items the day after Thanksgiving, Small Business Saturday was created in 2010 to support family-owned stores in small communities. Discounts and promotional items may be available in local stores on Saturday, Nov. 30. ■
